Good to know

Minimum participants
Our trips are guaranteed with a minimum of 2 persons. To keep small groups we take a maximum of 8 persons. Of course you are welcome to request if you are a bigger group. Private excursions possible.

Prices
The price always includes: guidance, snowshoes & poles (or cross country skis, boots and poles) and the mentioned servings of our programme.
Children younger than 13 years get 25% discount.

Cancellation
In case you can’t travel, change or cancel your week programme booking for free up to 24 hours before your activity. No refund for cancellations less than 24h prior to activity.

Cancellations of private/group tours for free up to 14 days before your adventure. No refund for cancellations less than 14 days prior to tour.

Starting point & Pick up
If nothing else agreed, the starting point is at our shared office at Due North Safaris, Sivulantie 8 in Äkäslompolo.
We can arrange to pick you up from the cabin, just let us know.

Transportation
All snowshoe trips start outside of the village. The transportation time from our starting point is between 5 and 30 minutes and is included in the price.
All cross country ski lessons start from the Äkäslompolo Sport Shop, Tunturintie 15 in Äkäslompolo.

We reserve the right to change the itinerary of the excursions should the weather or safety of our customers so require.
